Talks and workshops for high-performing women who want sustained results without the hidden cost of overfunctioning
You’ve got capable, driven women carrying more than anyone realises.
I help them name the pattern, see the cost, and change what happens next.
EVENT TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
The Invisible Tax (talk, keynote)
Capable women carry a layer of invisible work that never makes it onto a job description, a business plan, or a to-do list. This talk names what that load looks like in real life, how it builds across work and home, and why it disproportionately lands on the women who are best at managing it behind the scenes.
Audience takeaways
A clearer understanding of the invisible work they’ve been carrying and why it keeps landing with them
Language for the patterns draining their time, energy, and headspace
A practical shift they can make straight away to reduce the cost of carrying too much
Why It’s Good to Have Notions (talk, keynote)
Most women have been trained to keep their ambitions small and their expectations smaller. This talk explores where that conditioning comes from, what it costs, and what changes when women stop editing themselves before they even begin.
Audience takeaways
A clearer understanding of the conditioning that teaches women to keep ambition quiet
Language for the ways they self-edit, hold back, or make themselves smaller
A stronger sense of what becomes possible when they stop treating ambition like something to apologise for
The Notions Tax Audit (workshop)
A practical follow-on from the Notions talk. This workshop helps women identify where they are still paying a ‘notions tax’ by holding back, playing safe, or avoiding judgement. They leave with a clearer picture of the cost and a practical plan to stop paying it.
Audience takeaways
A clearer picture of where they are still paying a ‘notions tax’ by holding back or staying silent
Practical tools to spot the habits, situations, and decisions where they default to playing safe
A concrete plan to stop paying that tax in ways that feel realistic and doable
ABOUT LYNSEY
Lynsey Hanratty is a mindset and transformation coach based in Dublin. She works with ambitious women who are outwardly capable and totally exhausted by it, the women who are good at everything except switching off.
Her talks are for women who have already read the books and completed the courses, yet still find themselves back in the same loop when the pressure is on.
She’s less interested in inspiration that fades on the drive home and more interested in what happens two weeks later, when something has actually shifted.
With over 14 years of coaching experience, a PhD in Science, and an ICF PCC accreditation, Lynsey brings real depth to her work. She takes a grounded, practical approach to the patterns, pressures, and invisible costs that capable women absorb without ever being asked to.
WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE WILL LEAVE WITH
For the women in the room, this isn’t just an hour away from the daily humdrum, filling their notebooks full of good intentions and motivational quotes.
They’ll leave Lynsey’s talks and workshops with a clearer idea of what’s really been costing them: the patterns, pressure, and invisible load that have been quietly eating up time, energy, and headspace.
And they’ll leave with something practical and real they can use before the week is out. A cleaner decision or a firmer boundary. A conversation they’re finally ready to have, or language for a pattern they’ve been stuck in for years, but never quite knew how to name before.
