Talks and workshops on mindset, invisible load and the patterns that keep capable women over-functioning.

The women in your audience are capable, driven, and carrying more than anyone realises.

I help them see it, name it, and do something about it.

ABOUT ME

I work with ambitious women who are outwardly capable and totally exhausted by it, the women who are good at everything except switching off.

My talks are for the woman who has already read the books, done the courses, and still finds herself back in the same loop when the pressure is on.

I’m not interested in inspiration that fades on the drive home. I’m more interested in what happens two weeks later, when something has shifted: a decision made more cleanly, a boundary held without the usual spiral, a pattern interrupted before it takes over again.

I’m Lynsey Hanratty, a mindset coach based in Dublin, with a PhD in Science, too many coaching courses to count, and an ICF PCC accreditation.

My work is shaped by over 14 years of coaching and focuses on the patterns, pressures, and invisible costs that capable women absorb without ever being asked to.

WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE WILL LEAVE WITH

For the women in the room, this isn’t just an hour away from the daily humdrum, filling their notebooks full of good intentions and motivational quotes.

They’ll leave my talks and workshops with a clearer idea of what’s really been costing them: the patterns, pressure, and invisible load that have been quietly eating up time, energy, and headspace.

And they’ll leave with something practical and real they can use before the week is out. A cleaner decision or a firmer boundary. A conversation they’re finally ready to have, or language for a pattern they’ve been stuck in for years, but never quite knew how to name before.

What attendees had to say…

‘Lynsey’s session was impactful, thought-provoking, and genuinely memorable.

She challenged the idea that being the ‘reliable person’ can lead to over-responsibility and weak boundaries, while reframing confidence and self-worth.

I left recognising my value more clearly and feeling able to say, out loud, that I’m good at what I do.’

‘Excellent speaker, easy to listen to. Very well put together presentation, message was very strong - I would listen to Lynsey again.’

‘I thoroughly enjoyed Lynsey’s session, and I resonated with a lot of what she had to say. Loved the topic!’

‘I thought about this talk for the whole weekend afterwards, really catchy and motivational!’

‘I found this session very thought-provoking and relatable. It offered an interesting perspective on the ‘reliable person’ dynamic.

Lynsey really highlighted the importance of setting boundaries, managing expectations, and creating healthier ways of working without always feeling the need to carry everything alone.’

‘Great session, Lynsey was funny and engaging and had a clear point of what her session was all about!’

‘Very warm, engaging and practical. I really enjoyed her talk.’

EVENT TALKS AND WORKSHOPS

Why It's Good to Have Notions
(Executive PA Summit, Talk)

Most women have been trained over the years to keep their ambitions small and their expectations smaller. This talk looks at where that conditioning comes from, what it costs, and what becomes possible when women stop editing themselves before they even begin.

The Notions Tax Audit
(Executive PA Summit, Workshop)

A practical follow-on from the Notions talk. This workshop gives women the tools to identify exactly where they are paying a "notions tax" in their own lives, the places where they hold back, play it safe, or avoid being ‘difficult’ to avoid judgement. They leave with a clear picture of what that's been costing them and a concrete plan to stop paying it.

The Cost of Being Easy to Work With
(EnelX, Workshop)

Being reliable, accommodating, and easy to deal with sounds like a strength. For many capable women, it’s the thing that slowly drains them. This workshop looks at the real price of always being the one who sorts it, absorbs it, and makes it seamless for everyone else, and what it takes to change that without burning everything down.

The Invisible Tax

Capable women carry a layer of invisible work that never makes it onto a job description, a business plan, or a to-do list. This talk names what that load looks like in real life, how it builds across work, home, and everything in between, and why it disproportionately lands on the women who are best at managing it behind the scenes.

Confidence Under Pressure

Smart, experienced women still second-guess themselves in the moments that matter most, whether that's in a boardroom, during a difficult client conversation, or when making a decision that affects the people they love. This talk gets into why that happens, what's actually driving it, and what genuinely shifts the pattern rather than just managing it in the moment.

Boundaries Without Becoming Hard

Setting limits on your time and energy sounds straightforward until you're in the room with the people you respect, like, or answer to, whether that's a manager, a client, or your own family. This talk is about how women can hold their ground without guilt, apology, or the fear of being seen as difficult.

SPEAKING FORMATS

I’m available for keynote talks, interactive workshops, panels, fireside chats, podcast interviews, and virtual or in-person sessions.

ENQUIRE ABOUT YOUR SPEAKING EVENT OR WORKSHOP

If you're organising an event and want your audience to leave thinking differently and doing something differently, I'd love to hear about it.

Fill in the form below, and I'll be in touch within two working days.

My talks are designed to help women reframe their situation, not just nod along politely. If that's what you're looking for, we're probably a good fit.

I’m available for talks, workshops, panels, podcasts, and virtual or in-person events across Ireland, the UK, and online.
